As for the content im enjoying it, yeah it can be repetitive and like you I feel that rehashing old skins (weapons) as rewards doesent ring of orginality but lets wait until we see the big picture before we give a final verdict on winds of change.

Well as far as weapons are concerned i really don't care, i have more than i need even if the new ones are fancy, so what who cares really. I'm just QQing cos i'm ready for gw2 already lol, not sure the bigger picture is gonna be enough on first impressions, just some extra quests slightly tougher than normal, same old stuff so far. And if WoC is completed before GW2 is released i can see alot more QQing heading this way. Lets wait for the bigger picture, the only thing i'm waiting on now is GW2, after nearly 6 years i'm ready for something NEW!! I'll chip away at the quests here and there when i can be bothered, same as with z quests and Nich. As always good ideas implemented way too late for half the players to appreciate fully

I really don't think Anet is going to pass off some dull looking stuff like that as the new dedicatable weapon for a GW Beyond pack.
Actually, yes.

The second part is the problem with letting people speculate about content. Nobody knows for sure whether or not they will be going into the HoM it just seems likely. The exact quote from the FAQ: "While there are not any special titles tied to the new Winds of Change content, players will be able to acquire weapons from two new sets, including the never before seen Imperial weapons."

I think just about every player is pretty excited about GW2 more or less, pretty confident winds of change will be done and dusted before GW2 is released.

Back to the thread at hand though, first few quests are a bit of "go there kill this get reward" is a bit repetitive. However, as the quests continue and you delve further along, it does get more intresting, at least to me and im looking forward to part 2 of winds of change and as I mentioned earlier "the bigger picture" will clarify how good this new content will end up being and then we can all form an opinion on it.

I thought this was going to be released during stage one? -_-

I'm only concerned at the amount of QQs fired at Anet if they require Ministerial Commendations, because people will have spent the easily farmed commendations on dirty Purple Purity weapons...

Just saying.

Considering that the ending of part 1 very highly hints that we won't be working for the ministry much longer, I bet most of the rest of WoC will not be giving us Ministerials and imperial weapons will be purchased with something else.

I am assuming Imperial Weapons will be purchased for a ridiculously high amount of Imperial Commendations.

I don't see why they would do that, unless NM/HM WoC quests reward something like 5/10 imperial commendations each it will be too easy to simply farm ridiculously easy standard factions quests for them.

That said, if it is so then I have a full stack of them waiting to be sold for some ridiculous sum of money on day 1...

Well theres 2 parts of WoC left. The tokens to purchase the Imperial Weapons could come out next update. Since the new repeatable quests give out Imperial Tokens it looks as if they have some sort of future.

Well the same happened for HotN... WiK quests were rather long and ( some) a bit hard for non-prepared groups , rewarding 1-2 medals , whereas HotN quests didn't involved anything and rewarded you 2 medals each...

I guess that, anyway, part 2 quests will give ministerial commendations for sure

Does anybody else enjoy Cleansing Morostav Trail as much as I do? It's great fun in HM.

I do love me some monstrous afflictions.

Wand, focus, and daggers look alright, rest seems pretty bland imo.

I agree, nothing sings to me about those weapons there but well see how they look like up close and personal when they release them proper.

I loved it. A perfect end for the main line - not as hard, with some epic foes that are very satisfying to kill

P.S. tastes differ - for me, axe and hammer look most promising...

As long as they have great detail in game I think they will be awesome.

Many GWs players have been desensitized by animations and glow effects on weapons. To them if it doesn't glow or animate it's crap, which is sad. Damn you World of Warcraft! /fistshake
